We use project development as a driver for change. We tackle major challenges such as climate change, housing shortages, and social isolation by breathing new life into often polluted, neglected, and underutilised sites and buildings. Our goal is to create sustainable neighbourhoods that have a lasting positive impact on people and the environment. We opt for innovative, sustainable solutions that go beyond current standards and have been working according to ESG principles (Environmental, Social, Governance) since day one.

Reduce
Since our first projects at Revive – such as Den Draad in 2010 – we have firmly chosen energy-efficient and fossil-free residential areas. What was groundbreaking at the time is now gradually becoming the norm: no more gas connections, but fully electric and sustainable homes.
But it doesn’t stop there. To achieve climate goals, we look beyond just consumption. We renovate existing buildings and reduce embodied carbon (COâ‚‚ emissions throughout the lifecycle of the building, from the production of materials to construction, maintenance, and demolition). In this way, we reduce the ecological footprint from the very first sketch.

Rebalance
Renew, not destroy. We reorganise and repurpose spatial disorder and firmly believe in the power of flexible housing concepts that meet the needs of the surrounding area, both today and tomorrow. We develop a diverse range of housing and work solutions that are not only affordable and high-quality, but also contribute to an inclusive society. By creating innovative and flexible housing concepts, we aim to improve accessibility to housing for everyone.
The perfect repurposing always starts with respect for the past, which is why we consistently preserve and highlight the valuable heritage elements of the sites in our designs.

Reclaim
We not only transform and rehabilitate underutilised land and sites into valuable green spaces, but we also minimise water and material usage. Circular construction is about reusing materials and preserving what is valuable, such as nature and biodiversity. Renovation plays a key role here, as it allows us to breathe new life into existing structures, instead of wasting raw materials. By applying circular principles – such as reusing materials, water, and land – we help protect ecosystems and maintain a balanced natural environment. In this way, we create sustainable, future-proof living environments that benefit both people and nature.

Reconnect
At Revive, we strive to restore a divided society. We aim to reduce loneliness, improve the mental and physical health of individuals, and foster social connections. By promoting a culture of connection and designing shared infrastructure, we create opportunities for social interaction, a stronger sense of belonging, and opportunities for involvement – always with respect for everyone’s space, privacy, and freedom. Our community managers are ready to support these connections and connect residents in an accessible manner.

Temporary uses
When Revive acquires an old industrial site, a long process of design, procedures, and permits begins. In the meantime, these beautiful industrial spaces remain vacant and closed off. They are ideal places to give back to society, the community, and creative individuals. Here, you can explore some of our previously completed temporary uses.
Corporate responsibility
At Revive, we aim to provide transparent and accurate information to our investors. As an investment fund operating under the Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR) Article 9, we, through GLDF II Partners NV, aim to support the transition to a more sustainable economy by investing in activities that contribute to reducing environmental and social risks.
