Revive wins the Trends Impact Award for biodiversity and the Trends Global Impact Award (SME)

Double gold for Revive! A look behind the scenes of the Trends Impact Awards 2025

What a milestone! Last week, our team was privileged to win not one, but two prestigious Trends Impact Awards 2025!

We are the proud winner of the Trends Impact Award (SME category) in the Biodiversity category , and, as the icing on the cake, we also received the Trends Global Impact Award (SME category). The latter is an acknowledgement of our profound impact strategy (IRIS model) across all facets of our company.

But what exactly are the Trends Impact Awards, how are you selected, and who were the other sustainable impact-makers who won prizes? We’ll take you behind the scenes.

Five categories, great impact

The Trends Impact Awards recognise and honour sustainable projects in Belgium that make a tangible, positive difference to people, the environment, and society. The awards are structured around five categories, based on a scientific model from the Antwerp Management School.

  • Climate Action: For projects that reduce industrial pollution and heavily cut their CO2 emissions.
  • Biodiversity: For efforts to restore natural habitats and preserve biodiversity (this is the one we won in the SME category).
  • Circular Economy: For innovations in product design, waste management, and influence on consumer behaviour.
  • Equity & Inclusion: For initiatives that reduce social inequality and promote inclusion.
  • Health & Wellbeing: For projects that improve physical and mental health outcomes.

And then there is the Global Impact Award. You cannot submit an entry for this special prize yourself. The jury selects projects that have a broad, systemic, and transformative impact across multiple domains.

How do you become an Impact Award winner?

The journey to a Trends Impact Award is thorough and selective. Here are the key steps:

  1. Submission & Qualification: Companies, organisations, and institutions from Belgium could submit their projects within a specific category. The projects then underwent a preliminary evaluation by PwC to ensure they met the basic conditions.
  2. Presentation to the Jury: The nominees then present their project to an expert jury.
  3. The Decision: The expert jury selects the winners.
Congratulations to all impact-makers

De Awards-ceremonie op donderdag 13 november 2025 bracht alle finalisten en partners samen. We willen dan ook graag de andere winnaars feliciteren met hun indrukwekkende prestaties.

And a well-deserved congratulations also to the winners of the audience award, the Trends Public Impact Award:

It is encouraging to see that so many companies are fully committed to positive impact and are using their “business as a force for good”.

“An especially loud shout-out goes to our fantastic Revive team. Without their tireless energy and passion for integrating impact into everything we do, these awards would absolutely not be here. I know the road to impact is not always the easiest, but we continue to choose what is right.”
