Revive on a roll
Hello! We hope you are well.
We are pleased to update you on Revive's progress during the last couple of months!
The number of completed residential units has reached the 800 mark, with six times that number still in the pipeline.
Alltold, we have around 5,400 residential units under development, as well as 200,000 m² of offices and industrial property. During the past few months, we have welcomed six new Revivers. To ensure the smooth running of our development projects, our team has been strengthened with the addition of Peter, Sébastien, Frédéric, and Kato. There are currently some 640 residential units under construction, with another 420 being made available for sale next year. We are also planning to retain a further 250 to be let. Stephanie is our latest Customer Success Manager for sales, while Charlotte has taken up the post of Community Manager in which she will manage the apartments being let.
On 29 September, Revive in Poznań secured a second project in Poland. The project will involve a combination of residential, service, and office functions. The historic buildings of the former military barracks are to be revitalised. The master plan entails a total development potential of around 100,000 m², of which 20,000 m² will be taken up by offices and 8,500 m² by services; it also includes about 1,000 apartments. The building work is expected to start in the third quarter of 2022. The site is a mere stone’s throw from the main railway station in the centre of Poznań, and is currently deserted. The project will be developed through a 50/50 joint venture with BPI Real Estate Poland.
Opening of Dyrekcja
The magnificent Dyrekcja Building in Gdańsk reopened its doors on 2 September. The renovation of the former directorate building, which is of great historic significance, is the first milestone in the redevelopment of the Stocznia Cesarska site. We have also recently been granted a second permit for the renovation of the former fire station. The next stage is the permit for the development of 40,000 m² of new build, in order to finish work on the block of the directorate building.
In early May 2020, we acquired the Vynckier site in the northern part of Ghent. This ten-hectare site, situated on the Ghent ringroad, will have an entirely economic and industrial function. Revive is aiming to create and develop an ecosystem here based on energy transition and industry 4.0, and with that in mind, is looking for suitable end-users. In concrete terms, we are currently in the process of consulting with the market in order to identify companies that are interested in helping to develop the ecosystem. Demand is considerable, with around fifty companies already having signed up. You can find more information and the market consultation at the following website: www.vynckierintransitie.be
Wishing you the very best,
Alexandre & Nicolas
